How the charter works
A private local boat is arranged in advance as a full-boat hire — you book the boat, not a seat. It runs from Agatti and usually covers both Thinnakara and Bangaram in one day.

What to bring
- Neither island has facilities — carry water, food and shade.
- Reef-safe sunscreen and a hat. There is very little cover.
- A dry bag for anything you'd rather not have wet.
Availability and charges are confirmed before travel. Sea conditions decide whether the boat sails on a given day, and the crossing is occasionally moved.
