Bookings
A booking is confirmed only when we have acknowledged it in writing and received the agreed advance. Quoted rates are per person and hold for the dates and group size quoted. Availability, fares and taxes are confirmed at the time of booking.
Payments
An advance is required to begin permit processing and to hold accommodation and transfers. The balance is due before travel, on the schedule shared with your confirmation.
Entry permits
Travel to Lakshadweep requires a valid entry permit. You are responsible for providing accurate documents on time. We cannot be held responsible for a permit that is delayed or declined because of incomplete, late or incorrect documentation, or because of a change in administrative rules.
Flights and ships
Flight tickets are excluded from all packages unless stated otherwise in writing. Ship and vessel services are operated by third parties and are subject to weather, sea conditions, administrative requirements and schedule changes. We are not liable for costs arising from cancellations or delays outside our control.
Changes to an itinerary
Island itineraries depend on sea conditions and operator availability. Where an activity or crossing cannot run, we will offer a reasonable alternative. Activities missed due to weather or circumstances beyond our control are not refundable.
Cancellation
Cancellation charges depend on how close to departure the cancellation is made and on the terms of the accommodation and transport providers involved. The applicable schedule is shared with your booking confirmation. Permit and heritage fees already paid are non-refundable.
Conduct and local rules
Lakshadweep has specific rules on alcohol, protected areas, reef and marine life, photography and access to certain islands. Travellers are expected to follow them and the instructions of guides and boat crews.
Liability
We arrange services with local providers and act in good faith in selecting them. We are not liable for loss, injury or damage arising from the acts of third-party operators, or from events beyond reasonable control. Travel insurance is recommended.
