What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect the details you give us: your name, WhatsApp number, email address, travel dates, group size, island and package preferences and any notes you add. If you go on to book, we also collect the identity documents required for your Lakshadweep entry permit.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare travel options.
- To apply for entry permits on your behalf.
- To book accommodation, transfers, vessels and activities with local operators.
- To contact you about your trip before and during travel.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary, and only with the parties needed to deliver your trip: the Lakshadweep administration for permits, and the accommodation providers, boat operators and transport services on your itinerary. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are retained while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Booking and permit records are kept as long as required for administrative and legal purposes.
Most of our conversations happen on WhatsApp. Those messages are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy terms in addition to ours.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your information at any time by writing to reefroutetravels@gmail.com. We will confirm once it is done, except where we are required to retain a record.
