Six questions worth asking
- Are they actually on the islands? Boat crews, homestay owners and vessel schedules are local relationships. A mainland desk is relaying information, not holding it.
- Who handles the permit, and when? A clear answer with a timeline is a good sign. Vagueness here is the most expensive kind.
- Is every inclusion written down? Meals, transfers, permits, heritage fees, activities and guide assistance should be listed item by item, not summarised as "all inclusive".
- What's excluded? Flights and scuba are commonly excluded. An agency that says so upfront is telling you the truth about the rest too.
- Will they say no? Some island and date combinations simply don't work. An agency that agrees to everything hasn't checked.
- Can you reach a person? Plans change on the day out here. You want a number that answers.
How we work
We're based on Androth, we only plan Lakshadweep trips, and we list every inclusion and exclusion on each package page. When something isn't possible on your dates, we say so and suggest what is.
