Choosing the right Lakshadweep package

Lakshadweep packages from Kochi

Almost every trip starts with a short flight from Kochi to Agatti, the only airport in Lakshadweep. All our packages begin and end at Agatti airport, so they work for travellers from Kerala, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi or anywhere else in India. We help you choose flights that fit the plan.

Lakshadweep honeymoon packages

Couples usually choose Premier for the beach-resort stay, or Voyager for a quiet beach home near the lagoon. You can add a private boat day to Bangaram and Thinnakara — uninhabited islands with white sand and almost nobody around.

Lakshadweep family packages

Agatti is the easiest island for families: no extra sea crossing, calm shallow water and plenty of places to stay. Children love the turtles at Kalpitty and the glass-bottom boat. Wanderer and Premier are the most popular family choices.

Budget and price

Our lowest Lakshadweep package price is ₹14,499 per person for 4 days and 3 nights with a homestay, including meals, permit and activities. The price changes with season and group size, and we always confirm it in writing before you pay.

Visiting more than one island

Grand Odyssey covers Agatti, Kalpitty and Kavaratti over 5 days, with the high-speed ferry tickets included. If you want Kadmat for diving, Minicoy for culture or Bangaram for privacy, we build a custom plan.

Lakshadweep or the Maldives?

Both have coral reefs, lagoons and white sand. For Indian travellers, Lakshadweep is a domestic trip with no passport or foreign currency needed, just an entry permit. Read our Lakshadweep vs Maldives comparison.

Why book with a Lakshadweep travel agency

Lakshadweep needs an entry permit, and boats, ferries and stays are limited. A local agency on the islands can check what's really available on your dates. We're based on Androth and plan nothing but Lakshadweep.

Questions about Lakshadweep packages

How much does a Lakshadweep package cost?

Our Lakshadweep packages start at ₹14,499 per person. Wanderer (4 Days / 3 Nights, Homestay) costs ₹14,499. Voyager (4 Days / 3 Nights, Beach Home) costs ₹17,499. Premier (4 Days / 3 Nights, Beach Resort) costs ₹21,499. Coral Lovacation (4 Days / 3 Nights, AC Beach Resort) costs ₹27,500. Grand Odyssey (5 Days / 4 Nights, AC Beach Resort) costs ₹32,499. Thinnakara Atoll Escape (2, 3 or 4 Nights, Luxury tent resort) starts at ₹41,533. Bangaram Atoll Escape (1 to 4 Nights, Premium sea-view cottage) starts at ₹46,035. All prices are per person and do not include flights.

What is included in the package?

Stay, meals as per plan, airport pick-up and drop, guided sightseeing, the Kalpitty turtle trip, snorkelling, kayaking, a glass-bottom boat ride, your entry permit and heritage fees, and a local guide. Flights and scuba diving are not included.

Do I need a permit to visit Lakshadweep?

Yes. Every visitor who is not a resident needs an entry permit. From 15 October 2026 permits are issued on the new e-Permit portal, lak.e-permit.utl.gov.in, and under the new rule the permit must be applied for at least 15 days before your travel date. We apply for it for you once you book. Indians need a photo ID such as Aadhaar and a passport-size photo. Foreign nationals need a passport and a stamped Indian visa.

How do I reach Lakshadweep?

Most people fly from Kochi to Agatti, which takes about 1 hour 15 minutes. There are also flights from Goa and connections from Bengaluru and Delhi. Passenger ships run from Kochi, but their schedules change often.

What is the best time to visit Lakshadweep?

October to April is the best time. The sea is calm, the water is clear and boats run on time. May and September are in-between months. June to August is the monsoon, when the sea is rough and some boat trips may not run.

How early should I book?

At least 15 days before you travel, because the entry permit must now be applied for 15 days ahead of your travel date. Three to four weeks is more comfortable, as flights to Agatti use small aircraft that fill up fast.

Is Lakshadweep good for a honeymoon or a family trip?

Yes, for both. Couples usually pick Premier or Voyager and add a private boat day to Bangaram. Families like Agatti because there is no extra sea crossing and the lagoon is calm and shallow.
